Archaeologists in Hungary found 1,100-year-old burials of three related elite warriors, one likely the father or brother of a teen. Dating to the 920s–930s near Akasztó, the graves held weapons, horse gear, and 81 coins from northern Italy. The youngest warriors had decorated bows and belts, while the oldest had a saber and coin-adorned belt. Isotope analysis shows protein-rich diets, suggesting they were part of a high-ranking military group.
