Daze, a new messaging app targeting Gen Z, has gained 156,000 pre-launch sign-ups and 48 million views on TikTok and Instagram with product demo videos. Created by entrepreneur Willem Simons, Daze offers freestyle messaging with colorful, customizable chats, photos, and AI-powered tools. Built in React Native, it launches November 4 and has raised $5.7M from investors, including a16z and Maveron.
