An underwater worker discovered an 18th-century shipwreck off Dubrovnik, Croatia, famed as a Game of Thrones filming location. Found less than three feet under the seabed near Old Town, radiocarbon analysis confirmed its late 18th-century origin. Experts know little about the ship’s type, size, or cargo, sparking intrigue. Croatia’s Ministry of Culture is investigating further to preserve the find. This follows a recent 16th-century shipwreck discovery off Saint Tropez.
