The lawsuit alleges that Samsung's Auto Blocker feature misleads users into thinking alternatives to the Play Store are unsafe, reducing consumer choice and driving up app costs. Epic argues that Google falsely claims to prioritize user safety while limiting app installations from other sources. Samsung plans to contest Epic’s claims, stating Auto Blocker is designed for security and user control. Epic intends to raise its concerns with EU regulators as well.
