Google’s Android update lets employers archive and view RCS messages on managed work devices. Third-party apps can now capture all message activity, sent, received, edited, or deleted, to meet compliance, legal discovery, or internal investigation needs. The feature is transparent to workers and also supports SMS/MMS. It applies only to work-managed devices; encrypted apps like WhatsApp or Telegram remain unaffected.
