How to stop advertisers from tracking your teen across the internet

Teens aged 13-17 are tracked via Advertising IDs, which are used by advertisers to collect data once they turn 13 and lose COPPA protections. Parents can delete or reset these IDs on Android and iOS devices to limit targeted ads. On Android, go to Settings > Privacy > Ads to delete the ID. On iOS, opt out of tracking under Settings > Privacy > Tracking. Schools can also educate students and parents on protecting privacy by deleting Advertising IDs.
