A report by Accel reveals that Klarna is the leading European fintech unicorn for startup creation, with its alumni founding 62 companies like Anyfin and Pretzel AI. In contrast, Revolut's ex-employees started 49, while Wise and N26 each had 33. Despite Klarna's 24% workforce reduction, its ecosystem continues to foster entrepreneurship, with many startups emerging in the same cities as their parent firms, reflecting a lasting "flywheel effect" in fintech.
