Meta, TikTok, and Snap will be rated on teen safety as part of the Mental Health Coalition’s new Safe Online Standards (S.O.S.) program. An independent panel will assess rules, moderation, design, and mental health resources. Platforms performing well get a blue shield; poor performers get red. The ratings aim to hold companies accountable amid rising concerns over social media’s mental health impact, lawsuits, and addictive design targeting teens.
